(Shipping) Ltd handle the large shipping agency business that had been built up by Delmege Forsyth & Company Limited over a period of 100 years and over the years have represented reputed Principals and has considerable experience in handling Container Vessels, Gas Tankers, Break Bulk Vessels, Specialised Carriers, Heavy Lift Carriers, Passenger Vessel and Naval Vessels that call in the Port of Colombo, Galle, Trincomalee and Hambantota. Continues improvement in our operations have created an exciting opportunity in following position to strengthen our Delmege shipping team.
Junior Executive - Customer Service
The Role:
- Sending container release orders and vessel schedules to customers
- Updating systems and record maintenance
- Preparation of daily/weekly/monthly reports to principles/management references
- Provide regular market updates/market intelligence to the sales and marketing team, principles and all stakeholders
- Preparation of presentation & materials for principles and new customers
The Individual:
- Should have passed G.C.E. A./L and any other professional/academic qualification relates to sales and marketing relate to customer service would be definite advantage
- At least 1 year's similar experience in a shipping/freight forwarding or import/export company
- Good communication skills in Sinhala / English
- Below 25 years of age
- IT literate
