Backup Cashier

Locations: Colombo

We are looking for young and energetic individuals with a "Can Do" attitude to be employed at one of our subsidiaries related to Micro Finance sector, to be a part of the LOLC Group. Should be team players who possess strong interpersonal skills and able to work under pressure with employees at all levels. High level of integrity is expected in this role.

Job Role:

As a Backup Cashier, you will be responsible for:

• Withdraw cash from Bank and disburse loans accurately for approved facilities complying with Company guidelines, instructions and practices
• Collect cash from Field Officer / Customer and deposit accurately complying with Company guidelines and practices
• Handle petty cash accurately and maintain records
• Record all transactions timely and accurately according to Company guidelines and practices
• Ensure smooth back office operation of the Branch / Service Centre while adhering to laid down Company policies, procedures and practices

The Profile:

• Valid riding license & Willingness to travel.
• Successful completion of G.C.E. A/L Examination.
• Preference will be given to those who possess full or part qualification in AAT or similar Accountancy Course.
• Fair knowledge in computer literacy (MS Office package).
• Willingness to work long hours.
