Manager Finance

Provides financial information to management by researching and analysing accounting data; preparing reports.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analysing account information
• Documents financial transactions by entering account information
• Recommends financial actions by analysing accounting options
• Summarises current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports
• Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents
• Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
• Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account information
• Secures financial information by completing data base backups

Knowledge and Skills:

• Membership in a recognised accounting body such as ICASL/CIMA/ACCA or part qualification with a degree in finance from a recognised university
• 5-7 years post qualifying experience
• Effective communication / negotiation skills
• Knowledge on Microsoft Offie packages and other Accounting packages
