Junior Executive - Customer Service
Job Responsibilities:
- Attend to all customer enquiries in a timely manner
- Prepare Bills of Lading as per customer instructions
- Send invoices to customers and ensure timely recovery of charges
- Dispatch documents to Agents at port of destinations / transshipment ports upon completion of all Bills of Lading
- Send Cargo / Freight corrector messages, Express Release messages to Agents at ports of discharge upon customer requests
- Reconcile inward cargo manifest and generate discharging list to be forwarded to Main Line operators
- Check inward Cargo Manifest for accuracy and inform status of containers to relevant authorities
- Report cargo manifests to relevant authorities by checking vessel arrival dates to meet regulatory requirements
- Update manifest information in the system accurately
- Maintain relevant documents and correspondence in an orderly manner
Candidate Profile:
- A minimum of 3 passes at the G.C.E. A/L examination
- A minimum of one year's experience in customer service
- Excellent command of the English Language
- Computer literacy with a good command of the MS Office suite
- Diploma in International Shipping and Logistics or equivalent
