Trainee Accounts Assistant

Responsibilities

• Assist with gathering back-up support and preparing of journal entries
• Assist with preparing and validating month end close schedules and analysis
• Assist in performing account reconciliations
• Assist in various systems related projects, including but not limited to performing testing and documentation
• Assist with general accounting month-end closing procedures
• Complete special projects as needed and other duties assigned
• Assist in helping with accounts receivable, payable and bank statement reconciliation
• Assist in data entry

Experience and Education:

• Final year Undergraduate in Accounting / Business Studies / Commerce  within the past 6 months
• Following of core level Accounting courses

The ideal candidate should be a good team player and have effective communication & IT skills.

Age should be below 25 years.

Upon successful completion of the Accounts training period he/she will be considered for a permanent position in the organisation, with an attractive remuneration package along with a host of benefits.
An allowance would be paid during the training period.
