Senior Executive - Customer Care

Prerequisites:

  • Having part or full qualifications in relation to insurance, Marketing or Business Management
  • Previous experience in the same field will be an added advantage
  • Possessing excellent communication skills in English / Sinhala is a must (Spoken & Written)
  • Communication skills in Tamil will be an added advantage
  • Good Educational background, preferably 3 passes at G.C.E. A/L
  • Computer Literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Presentable personality and to be able to work independently and in teams
  • Excellent PR Skills and Customer Management Skills
  • Should be between 20-28 years of age (Male/Female)
  • A confident outgoing personality who understands the customer and the requirements

Job Scope:
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Identify and asses customer needs to achieve satisfaction
  • Welcome / greet customers and extend support
  • Build relationships of trust through open and interactive communication and go the extra mile to engage customers
  • Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the system
  • Meet personal / team targets
  • Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within specified time limits and follow up to ensure resolution
  • Open insurance accounts and maintain records of customer interactions, policy details and file documents
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
  • Attract potential customers by answering product and service questions and suggest information about other products and services
  • Maintaining reports in a timely manner & the ability to understand process developments

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Communicate and coordinate with internal departments
  • Follow up on customer interactions
  • Direct requests and unresolved issues to the designated resource
  • Maintain & develop excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills
  • Attention to detail, accuracy and stress tolerance
  • Be prompt and troubleshooting
