Management Accountant - Executive Category

Location: Operations Centre - Nawala

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Prepare the month-end accounts and other required reports (such as dock to dock, profit & loss statement, non-financial KPI reports) in a timely and accurate manner
• Prepare the overhead  profit projection as at every mid-month/month=end and share with management
• Monitor and analyse the SBU Capital Expenditure and provide relevant information to management whilst following up on the selected capital expenditure items/post evaluation of same
• Facilitate the weekly Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reviews at the plants and provide relevant data for the reviews whilst, working closely with the relevant General Manager at the plant to provide required information to facilitate the decision the decision making process
• Preparation of annual budgets for the SBU and ad-hoc reports such as incentive schemes, Cost of failure analysis whilst, researching and analysing overseas / local investments in order to provide relevant information to the General Manager Finance for further decision making
• Raise CAPEX requests, obtain relevant authorisation/approvals whilst, following up on requests with relevant persons in order to ensure the timely receipt of goods.

Qualification & Experience:

• CIMA Passed Finalist / ACMA / Degree from a reputed University related to Accounting or Finance and 2-3 years of relevant experience & handling SAP would be an added advantage
• Applicant would have to travel to the assigned plants (outside Colombo) on frequent basis
