Banking Assistants - IT Operations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute EOD operations and system monitoring
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues relating to IT equipment (Technical issues) within given SLAs
  • Coordinate with vendors effectively and obtain prompt solutions in order to minimise system down time while attending to all IT related matters as per implemented guidelines
  • Effectively monitor and maintain the IT inventory
  • Assist in new branch openings, relocations and refurbishments

Experience & Qualifications Required:

  • Diploma in computer hardware or equivalent qualification
  • Passed 6 subjects at the G.C.E. O/L examination with 2 Credit passes for Mathematics and English
  • Passed at least 2 subjects at the G.C.E. AL examination, excluding General English
  • Minimum of two years' work experience in a commercial bank / financial institution with exposure to IT operations (Computer hardware and software)

  • Thorough knowledge in IT software & hardware
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Active Team Player
  • Responsible on all individual / team & department projects
  • Work on shift basis
