Coordinator - Debtor Management (Television Services)

The Job:

• Guide and recommend credit related actions by closely working with the recovery and legal teams to ensure all necessary actions are taken at various levels.
• Visit clients/agencies with the relevant sale account manager when required
• Initiate, guide and implement debtor minimising strategies via respective line manager to maintain a healthy debtor status.
• Manage divisional debtors by closely monitoring, following up on payments and aliasing with the sales team.
• Update management on debtor status and flag any significant debtor related issues and attend them to resolve with minimum effect to the business
• Prepare reports on divisional sales, debtor status, revenue share etc
• Check channel partner invoices pertaining to revenue share and ensure timely payments
• Carryout required analysis on channel utilisation, advertising revenue and highlight significant trends and channel optimisation opportunities
• Maintain close relationships with the group credit and legal departments to assure the collection of long-term debt in a timely manner

The Person:

• Should possess a Degree/Diploma in Business Management or equivalent professional qualification
• Must have 2 years' experience in a similar background including hands on experience in Finance and debtor management related functions
• Should have excellent communication skills, presentation skills, report writing skills and candidate also should be IT literate
• Ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all cross functional teams
