Currently a vacancy has emerged in our Accounts Division for the post of Assistant Manager / Accountant.

Assistant Manager / Accountant

The Person:

  • Should be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Should be well conversant in analytics
  • Attention to detail and Meeting deadlines is a must
  • Proactive, result driven and independent personality

The Job:

  • Preparation and analysis of Financial Statements and Management reports on monthly, quarterly and annually
  • Supervise General Ledger entries, payments and receipts and related reconciliations to ensure accuracy
  • Evaluate and implement internal control procedures in the best interest of the organisation
  • Preparation of Annual Budget and involve with feasibility studies
  • Assist / participate in the Risk Management Process within the firm's
  • Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework
  • Preparation of variance analysis reports and ability to interpret major variations
  • Appetite for company taxation and actively participation in tax planning related work

Qualifications:

  • Qualified / passed finalist of CA Sri Lanka
  • 3 years of Accounting / Auditing experience is preferred
  • Age should be below 30 years
  • Computer literacy in MS Office and accounting software
  • Knowledge in handling ERP is a definite advantage
  • Fluent in English
