Customer Support Executive (For Field Services)

Abans PLC is the trading arm of the prestigious Abans Group of companies and a market leader in Electronics and Home Appliances in Sri Lanka. We are looking for a dedicated and qualified person for the position of Customer Support Executive for Field Services. The Job can broadly be summarized as attending to the day-to-day problems of hardware systems.

Requirements

  • Ability to configure and install HP, Dell, Toshiba desktops, notebooks and entry level servers and storage.
  • Have the flexibility to work late hours as required and be willing to travel throughout the country as/when the need arises.
  • Possess a friendly and pleasing personality and be able to maintain good customer relationship.
  • Be able to work with minimum supervision.
  • An ability to communicate in English would be desirable.
  • GCE A/L qualification.
  • Should have an interest in IT hardware engineering and should be/planning to follow
  • Diploma in IT/ICT or equivalent.
  • Microsoft/CISCO certification/part qualification would be an added advantage.
  • HP/Dell certification is an added advantage.
  • Age between 19-26 yrs.
