Banking Assistants / Trainee Banking Assistants - Call Centre

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly and accurately to customer inquiries / queries / requests whilst maintaining the Bank's standards
• Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle customer inquiries and complaints
• To be prudent with the details provided to internal and external customers
• Notify customer concerns to the respective departments
• Well conversant in Call Centre etiquette

Experience & Qualification Requirements:

Banking Assistant

• Minimum 1 year's experience in a commercial bank / financial institute with exposure to customer service / prior call centre experience
• A minimum of two passes at the G.C.E. A/L Examination excluding General English
• Passed the G.C.E. O/L Examination with two credit (C) passes for Mathematics and English
• Age below 26 years

Trainee Banking Assistant

• A minimum of two passes at the G.C.E. A/L Examination excluding General English
• Passed the G.C.E. O/L Examination with two credit (C) passes for Mathematics and English
• Age below 23 years

Key Attributes required:

• Exceptional communication skills (Ability to talk and read in English and Sinhala is mandatory)
• Good negotiation skills
• Ability to multi task
• Active team player
• Computer literacy
