Transport Coordinator - Transport Operations
As the Transport Coordinator you will be responsible for:
- Deploying trucks for deliveries based on requirements from distribution planning team
- Coordinating with the warehouse and transporters to ensure timely service delivery
- Attending to matters regarding deliveries at delivery locations
- Executing and facilitating the processes in our DMS (Transporter registration, Job creation, POD management)
- Visiting pickup and delivery locations should there be any issues and proactively provide solutions
- Dealing with matters pertaining to accidents and insurance
The ideal candidate should have:
- G.C.E. A/L
- 2 years of work experience in similar capacity with 5 5 years of working experience in transport operations
- Good interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in MS Office package is an added advantage
- Valid riding license
