Assistant Manager HR

The suitable candidate should be energetic, self-motivated possessing a positive mindset with a sound knowledge in HR Management who is willing to take on responsibilities and initiatives to handle assigned tasks within specific time limits. He/She should be adept at multi-tasking with proven ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and adapt to rapidly changing situations.

Job Profile:

  • Ability to do manpower planning, recruitments and conduct interviews for staff replacements
  • Preparing and compiling job description and job advertisements
  • Preparation of annual HR Budget
  • Identifying the training needs of the staff and preparing training plan accordingly
  • Setting KRAs & KPIs for the staff and conduct the performance appraisals system of the institute
  • Implementing and setting up HR systems, procedures, and processes
  • Updating and maintaining records of the Attendance system
  • Assisting towards implementation of the HR module of the new ERP system
  • Implementing employee productivity enhancement initiatives and welfare activities by organising staff get-together etc
  • Handling staff grievances
  • Attending to all disciplinary matters

Personal Profile:

  • Full PQHRM qualification from IPM or Degree from a recognised university
  • Similar experience in the field of Human REsoruces Management with 2 years working experience as an Assistant Manager of Senior Executive Level
  • Strong organising and interpersonal skills with ability to articulate ideas to any level of the hierarchy
  • Ability to take initiatives on own steam and take leadership to complete the assigned tasks with minimum supervision
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent command of both English and Sinhala languages
  • Proven computer skills
  • Pleasing personality with good PR skills

Remuneration for this position is negotiable and will commensurate with qualifications and experience.
