The following position awaits you:

Manager F&B

Scope:

  • Responsible for the overall operations of Restaurant in all day dining + IRD + Banquet operations
  • Work together with the Executive Chef to ensure menus are cost effective and in accordance with trends and market demands
  • Reviews all F&B outlet covers forecasts and ensure team members are scheduled accordingly
  • Ensure all F&B departments operate in accordance with established standards
  • Prepare in close conjunction with the Executive Chef and Department Heads the F&B section of the business plan and monitor budget versus actual results during the financial year
  • Plan and implement replacement of FF&E and OE in accordance with needs and available budget
  • Ensures banquet, buffet set-ups and banquet function themes are creative and in accordance with the brand image
  • Constantly seek to enhance revenue by monitoring cost of sales and implementing revenue-increasing products / programmes / activities
  • Prepare and implement hotel's F&B Marketing Plan
  • Follow up on all media Feedback and prepare improvement action plans
  • Monitor and control F&B inventories

Profile:

  • Thorough knowledge and hands on experience in the overall food and beverage operation
  • Sound Academic Background; preferably a degree in Hospitality Management of qualification in food & beverage
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in similar capacity in a star class environment
  • Manage extreme situations and ability to work under minimum supervision
  • Excellent communication skills in English language
  • A very well presented, self-driven individual and a great motivator
  • Ability to meet targets and deliver on time
  • Solid commitment to customer and employee service
  • Ability to think strategically, implement, and deliver business objectives
