Hayleys Industrial Solutions has four Strategic Business Units (SBUs) marketing and providing industrial solutions through Power Engineering, Medical and Analytical Equipment, Pigments, and Machinery, and Industrial Raw Materials representing several globally reputed principles in Sri Lanka. Corporate Solutions Division is responsible for providing support services including, Finance, HR, Purchasing, Inventory Management etc.

We are on the lookout for a friendly, energetic and dynamic individual to join HISL Team and work at our Head Office of the Company.

Junior Executive - Front Desk & Admin

Candidate Profile:

  • Having a pleasant personality and a flair for public relations and customer care
  • Possessing at least "B" grade pass for English Language and at least "C" for Mathematics at G.C.E. O/L
  • Part qualification in AAT / CIMA / CASL although not essential, would be an added advantage
  • Possessing very good verbal and written communication skills in English, excellent interpersonal skills and a keen eye for detail
  • Emotional maturity to maintain confidentiality of business matters and to handle the callers tactfully work pressure and callers
  • Having sound knowledge of the MS Office packages (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) or equivalent open source software
  • Having 6 months of relevant work experience, although not essential, would be an added advantage

Job Responsibilities:

  • To greet and assist visitors at the front desk, coordinate with the colleagues and guide them to the relevant department
  • Answering telephone, greeting, handling queries and transferring the calls to the relevant departments
  • Administration of supply of stationery, collating requirements, ordering after approvals, inventory management and distribution
  • Scheduling meetings, reserving meeting venues and participating in organising company events
  • Coordinating with multiple teams from business divisions, other Business Sectors, business partners and clients
  • Independently handling assigned administration tasks based on the approvals
  • Upholding the image of the Company and developing professional work relationships with all stakeholders
  • Completing the undertaken tasks such as finance and non-finance data entry tasks within the deadlines
