Assistant Manager - Internal Audit

We are looking for an Assistant Manager - Internal Audit who should be a passed finalist of ICASL, CIMA or ACCA with a minimum of overall 5 years' of hands on experience in audit / internal audit in a practicing firm or in the commercial sector organisation. Further he/she should possess sound interpersonal skills and analytics skills and be able to understand risks inherent in a company's processes and procedures. He/She should demonstrate excellence in governance, risk and internal control practices and application of financial reporting standards. Being a good team player along with high level of written and oral communication skills, and IT skills are essential. Exposure to the multiple industries will be a distinct advantage.

The selected candidate will be reporting to General Manager - Group Risk & Control. He/She will be responsible to execute the internal audit charter in relation to independent assurance and consulting services by bridging a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes. In his/her role, he/she will also be responsible for managing multiple teams by providing direction, guidance & supervision in delivering the approved audit plan whilst ensuring the quality of the audit reports presented to Audit Committee. Further he/she will strengthen the internal control system of the group by advising on matters relating to internal controls & financial reporting and conducting knowledge sharing sessions.
