Technical Officer - Civil

To provide technical support in the field of civil engineering for successful planning, designing, tendering, evaluating, constructing and maintenance of buildings and facilities.

Job Profile

  • Planning, Designing Tendering and Evaluation of building construction/ refurbishment projects and related services
  • Perform technical review of designs to ensure compliance with codes, regulations and the standards maintained by the Bank
  • Monitoring, reviewing and coordinating projects design from inception to completion stage
  • Monitor contractor's work and enforce terms of the contract; process payments and change orders
  • Carrying out other relevant tasks as requested by senior departmental staff 

Applicant's Profile

  • Applicants should have acquired any one of following educational qualifications or equivalent qualifications in the field of Civil Engineering;
    * Open University Diploma - Level 4
    * National Diploma in Technology
    * National Diploma in Engineering Science
    * Higher National Diploma in Engineering
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in supervising and coordination of Civil Construction work with exposure and ability to interpret technical drawings, data, documents and preparing BOQ's and Specifications
  • Should be aged below 30 years
