Executive - Sales & Marketing

Job Responsibilities:

• Achieve allocated sales and marketing targets by visiting customers daily and maintaining customer relationships through customer entertainment activities
• Generate new revenue streams through close coordination with overseas clients and promotion of company activities
• Offer the best cargo movements and connections to customers by close coordination between services
• Ensure optimum utilisation of space and faster turnaround of vessels by close coordination of partner services
• Build and maintain productive relationships with Principal offices
• Collate and share market information, competitor activities and all business related information with sales and management teams for decision making purposes

Candidate Profile:

• A minimum of 3 passes at the G.C.E. A/L examination
• 1-3 years' experience in customer service or Sales & Marketing in the Shipping Industry
• A part qualification in SLIM / CIM will be an added advantage
• Excellent command of the English and Sinhala languages
• Computer literacy with sound knowledge in MS Office packages
• Knowledge in port / vessel / NVOCC operations will be an added advantage
