Executive - Credit

Cinnamon Hotels and Resorts is Sri Lanka's largest operator of star class hotels with a portfolio of over 2000 rooms divided among three city hotels and eleven resort hotels, situated in prime locations in Sri Lanka and Maldives.

We invite applications from suitably qualified individuals for the post of Executive - Credit. The selected candidate will report to the Manager - Credit and will be based at the corporate head office.

Executive - Credit

The Executive - Credit will be responsible for:

• Monitoring non-credit customer arrivals via the reservation system, following up the payments and handling all rate disputes
• Monitoring all advance payments posting done via SAP and ensuring all non-credit customer account payments and invoices are cleared in SAP in timely manner
• Identifying the under payments / over payments and obtaining approval for processing credit notes
• Effectively handling all credit card machines at head office and resorts
• Corresponding with all internal and external customers

The ideal candidate should possess:

• Full or part qualification in Finance / Accountancy from a recognised university or institution and minimum of one-year work experience in the relevant field
• Excellent communication skills
