Office Assistant

Location: Matugama

The ideal candidate should possess G.C.E. O/L qualification. Previous experience in a similar position will be advantageous. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work within a team, ability to work under pressure as and when required are key competencies sought.

Main duties and responsibilities include:

  • Cashing and depositing cheques
  • Submitting LC documents, import draft applications and TT documents
  • Making BOI, ETF cheque payments
  • Collecting and delivering samples to the Buying Office
  • Collecting Import Credit vouchers from Inland Revenue to be submitted to customs
  • Collecting the new SVAT Credit voucher books are required
