Accounts Assistant

Location: Head Office Dematagoda

Job Role:

• Preparation of Bank Reconciliations
• Processing of payroll and compliance with related statutory requirement
• Handling all the company related taxed covering Income Tax / VAT / SVAT / NBT / ESC WHT / PAYE / Stamp duty and coordinating with revenue authorities
• Preparation of financial accounts and processing journal entries
• Performing accounts related reconciliation in computerised accounting system
• Computation of cost of imports & update import costing register in the system
• Managing finance related documents

Job Requirement:

• Partly qualified in ICASL or full qualified in AAT or bachelor's degree in finance
• Excellent proficiency in MS Office package and 2-3 years' experience in handling computerised accounting system preferable an ERP system
• Go-getter with the ability to complete challenges entrusted to her/him with integrity
• Minimum 2-3 years' experience in manufacturing environment or audit sector
• Team player with strong communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in English
• Age between 22-27
