Stores Executive

This position is available in the Engineering Department of our Colombo terminal operation in Port of Colombo and will directly report to senior Stores Executive.

The Role:
Carrying out the warehouse functions smoothly. Timely follow up on all orders ensuring maximum availability. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all warehouse activities and correspondences and Preparing management information reports.

The Person:

Qualifications, Experience and other Attributes.

• A recognised Degree or Professional qualification in Warehouse Management or Transportation / Logistics Management
• At least 2 years of experience in procurement related field and previous Terminal work experience will be a definite advantage
• Effective oral and written communication skills in English. Good planning and organising skills, ability to handle multiple tasks under minimum supervision. 
• Excellent communication skills
• Male candidates are preferred due to nature of work
