Assistant Accountant

We are seeking the following result oriented, passionate individual to join our Finance team.

This position involves responsibly for assisting the Financial Accountant int he aspects of; general ledger, financial accounting, compilation of budgets and variance analysis, provision of management information, maintenance of the cash book and all books of prime entry, intercompany and bank reconciliations, maintenance of the group fixed assets register, ensuring adherence to systems and controls etc.

Candidate Profile:

• Part qualified in ICASL / CIMA / ACCA / CMA and/or possess a Degree / HNDA in Finance or Accountancy
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in a similar capacity
• Must possess sound analytical skills with excellent communication skills and must have hands on experience on; computerised accounting packages and office application
• Should have working knowledge of Accounting Standards
• Strong work ethic and the ability to meet deadlines on time
• Having exposure on the Microsoft Dynamic Nav ERP and Audit Firm experience with knowledge of Advanced Excel will be an added advantage
