Internal Audit Associate

Job Role:

• Communicates audit findings in a timely manner to the Head of Internal Audit
• To demonstrate up-to-date expertise in audit processes and methodologies in the Internal Audit Department and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans
• Assist to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity
• Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions to optimise the respective processes
• Partner with management to identify constructive and value-added solutions and address issues identified
• Recommend operational improvements which ensure that proper controls are exercised over the respective aspects of the businesses and that company assets are conserved, protected and accurately presented

Prerequisites:

• Passed at the G.C.E. A/L Examination
• Successful completion of CA Professional Certificate in Accounting and Business - II (CAB II) or completion of skill level of ACCA
• Minimum 2 years of professional work experience in an audit firm will be preferred 
  (Exposure to the insurance industry will be an added advantage)
• Good verbal and written communication sills
• MS Office competency skills
• Should have knowledge in IFRS, IIAp professional practice framework
