Accounts Executive (Inventory Control)

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that optimum free stock is maintained at each sales outlet and at the main warehouse
• Ensure that adequate visibility of inventory is maintained at sales outlets / ware house and ensure that the physical inventory corresponds with the ERP
• Ensure internal controls, procedures and policies pertaining to safeguard of inventory are adequate and maintained
• Ensure Inventory Indicators are as per budget and accurate recording and reporting of inventory balances
• Perform the annual / bi annual inventory verification and frequent random stock counts and report exceptions

Requirements:

• A degree in Accountancy / Business Management / Commerce and or intermediary qualifications from a recognised according body such as CA / CIMA / ACCA
• Prior experience in inventory / stock control in a relevant field, with a minimum of 2 years of experience
• Excellent analytical , problem solving and organising skills
• The ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Age below 40 years
