Executive - Internal Audit

The following will be the job role:

• Perform financial, regulatory, compliance or operational reviews / audits as per the approved audit plan
• Identify controls in place to mitigate identified risks and and suggest / recommend required controls
• Perform audit procedures to verify that controls are operating and reports to the Head of the department
• Analyse the conclude on effectiveness and efficiency of control environment
• Document the result of audit work in accordance with audit department's and the Institute of Internal Auditor's (IIA) standards
• Conduct engagements in accordance with annual audit plan & AGM - Intern Audit's instructions
• Coordinate with audit field staff & make sure that audit reports are drafted without delays
• Report audit findings and make recommendation for the correction of unsatisfactory conditions
• Participate in outstation branch inspections as a team member

The ideal candidate should possess:

• Part qualification in either CA Sri Lanka, CIMA or CMA
• Degree fro a recognised university
• Experience of more than 1 year-industry experience or experience from an audit firm will be an added advantage
