We invite applications from highly driven and accomplished individuals for the position of Management Trainee - Human Resources at Union Bank of Colombo PLC.
The useful candidate needs to have strong knowledge in the HR lifecycle, such as Requirement, Compensation and Benefits, Employee Relations and Performance Management.
Management Trainee - Human Resources
The Job:
- To support the design and delivery of people and organisational development initiatives, change management aligned to the Bank's strategic and operational plans.
- Execute employee communications strategies to ensure effective communication across the organisation.
- Drive the agenda for employee engagement by measuring, analysing, designing developing and delivering the result oriented Bank-wide action plans.
- Lead and be responsible for the execution of all Great Places to Work initiatives.
- Contribute research, analysis and ideas to the development of the Bank's HR strategy in order to ensure that organisational development initiatives are appropriately integrated and aligned with strategic and business goals.
The Person:
- Degree in Business Management / Human Resources or any other related field with a second class upper or above results
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Has the ability to coordinate and work well with all the levels of management and staff
- Should have excellent decision making and problem solving skills
- Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships
- Prior working experience in Human Resources Management will be an added advantage
