Assistant Accountant

Job Profile:

• Hands on experience in Financial Reporting, Management Accounting & Audit reviews
• Should provide leadership to the financial reporting and enhance the efficiency of day to day operation
• Preparation and presentation of financial statements
• Management of account receivable and account payable modules
• Dealing with Banks, Inland Revenue, Labour Department, Central Bank and other regulatory authorities

Job Requirements:

• Intermediate qualifications of ICASL / CIMA / ACCA or equivalent qualification in accountancy
• Previous experience of minimum three years in similar capacity, preferably in a manufacturing organization of Containerised Shipping line. (applicants without commercial experience will not be considered)
• Should possess good analytical & planning skills
• Required to be IT literate
• Should possess excellent command in English and interpersonal skills
• Experience in handling of Payroll including EPF / ETF online payments and knowledge of Quick Book accounting software is an added advantage
