MCB Sri Lankan Operations is looking to fill the undermentioned position, by dynamic and career oriented individual who have the initiative and flair to perform in a challenging environment.

Database Administrator

Job Profile:
Database Administrator will be responsible for maintaining Oracle databases and required subsystems including assisting & installing new database applications, upgrading RDBMS software, ongoing system technical support, and ensuring the integrity of the environment. He/She will be reporting to senior DBA.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science OR
  • G.C.E. A/L with significant professional experience & relevant Certifications (OCA / RHCE)

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 or more years Oracle DBA experience preferably in a Bank
  • Experience in deploying database changes for new releases with minimal downtime
  • Linux (RHL) and Oracle performance tuning techniques

Skills

  • Demonstrated proficiency of troubleshooting and detail-oriented problem diagnosis skills
  • Ability to work on roster basis and after hours, on-call schedules

Age below 35 years
