Samtessi Brush Manufacturers (Pvt.) Ltd., a member of the DSI Samson Group is a leading brush manufacturing company having more than 27 years of experience in the brush industry. Our factory is based in Kurunegala.
We are looking for experienced, energetic, self-motivated individuals who meet the following requirements to join our factory. There is a vacancy for the above position for immediate engagement depending on the competencies of the suitable candidate who is looking for a career with us
Accounts Assistant
Qualifications Required:
- Possess a sound academic background with G.C.E A/L in commerce stream.
- Possess part qualification in ICASL/CIMA/ACCA/CMA would be an added advantage.
- Minimum 1 years of working experience in a finance department of a commercial organization.
- Age below in 30 years.
Competencies Required:
- Possess high level of commitment integrity & adaptability with good IT skills.
- Have an exposure to an Accounting Systems (MYOB, ACCPACC, QB etc.) and ERP System.
- Good written and verbal communication skills and attention to details.
- Dynamic, result oriented person with ability to work under pressure are essential attributes.
Job Responsibilities:
- Print cheques, dispatch relevant cheques to suppliers and place stop payments.
- Provide information requested by the suppliers.
- Ensure the scheduled payments are sent for relevant banks before the cut-off time.
- Coordinate with banks and do the needful as and when required.
- Prepare bank transfers and coordinate with relevant parties.
- Other related document works.
