Assistant Manager - Internal Audit

The ideal candidate job profile:

  • Review the management accounts of the estates and assess the accuracy and compliance with Sri Lanka accounting standards.
  • Conduct process audits of plantation companies and report the gaps in as-is processes.
  • Review of compliance with management policies and directives and other internal requirements.
  • Conduct follow-up audits to evaluate the management responses and corrective action taken in response to audit recommendations.
  • Undertake special assignments and investigations.

The ideal candidate should:

  • Be below 40 years of age.
  • Possess part qualification in ICASL.
  • Possess a minimum of 3 years’ experience in mercantile sector in auditing and the
  • exposure in handling internal audits, risk management and systems audits.
  • Possess good communication skills.
  • Be computer literate.
  • Be able to travel outstation and work long hours as and when required.
