Software Engineer
Skills & Responsibilities:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent qualification is required
- Minimum 1 year's industry experience in software engineering projects
- Thorough understanding of software design, system architecture and development methodologies and practices
- Object oriented design and programming / UML
- Layered software architectures
- Expert knowledge in J2SE is a must
- Sound knowledge in C#, ASP.NET, HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, SQL, AJAX, CSS3, IIS
- Web Services (SOAP, REST) & WCF
- MySQL with thorough understanding on stored procedures (Experience in Oracle & Progress will be an added advantage)
- Version controlling and prior experience in finance application development will be added advantages
- Unit Testing & Continuous Integration/Build Automation
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to be self-motivated and work independently
Your primary responsibilities will be providing software design and implementation solutions to complex business needs. You will be involved in every aspect of development from requirements gathering to final sign-off.
