Manager - Network And Communications

Up-time, Security and Capacity Planning of the Bank's IT Network and Communications infrastructure.

Job Profile:

• Efficient and effective management of the Bank's Voice and Data Network to provide reliable and secure operations within Sri Lanka and overseas
  - Upgrade, design and implementation of network infrastructure as per layered security architecture
  - Build high availability and disaster recovery capability
  - Ensure Network Security with proactive monitoring and complying to industry standards
  - Manage Network Information Security Threats
  - Maintain service levels
• Vendor management of services, implementation, maintenance and support contracts / service level agreements
• Capacity planning, health check monitoring and management reports for data / voice network
• Lead and develop system recovery processes to minimize the impact of disaster scenarios
• Adhere to the Information Security Policy of the Bank
• Respond to inquiries from a variety of sources (e.g. regulators, auditors, staff, vendors and service providers etc) for the purpose of providing technical assistant and support

Applicant's Profile:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (must be related to Electronic and Communication Engineering or Computer Engineering)
• Professional qualifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, CEH and other standard network and security related qualifications will be an advantage
• Project Management qualification such as PMP or previous experience on large network projects will also be an advantage
• Strong skills, capabilities and knowledge of the following areas are expected
  - Cisco Switches, Routers, IPS and Firewalls
  - Layer 3 Routing such as BGP, EIGRP and OSPF
  - Cisco VoIP Telephony

Experience:

• 10 years experience in related field with 3 years experience in Managerial grade covering the following areas:
  - Network design and implementation
  - Network security design and implementation
  - Knowledge and experience of Operating Systems (AIX, Solaris, Redhat and Microsoft)
