Engineer - Customer Solutions

Job Role:

• Design and implement competitive techno-commercial solutions
• Ability to develop enterprise web platforms, embedded framework/software, protocols and API-middleware
• Preparation of cost estimations for planned products
• Understand 360 degree view of a product and design systems according to its specifications
• Develop products and systems which suit the needs of the corporate domain
• Interface with the customer and the relevant internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operation of the product and systems
• Undertake QA, testing, analysis of results and make recommendations
• Interact with product management team to ensure solutions are prioritized

Qualifications & Experience:

• BSc/BEng Degree in Engineering or IT domain
• Profound understanding of Object Oriented Principles, design and implementation
• Understanding of modeling techniques, such as UML for problem solving
• Programming ability in Java, PHP, JSF, CSS, HTML5, JavaScript
• Sound knowledge in Android / IOS / BlackBerry / Windows Mobile based application design and Development
• Excellent understanding of languages such as C, C++, C# 3.0, PHP, Java, JavaScript
• Database knowledge in Oracle 10g, MySQL, RDB/ER design
• Familiar with application servers such as JBOSS, Apache, Tomcat
• Knowledge on Application frameworks such as ASP.net 3.5, WPF, JSF
• Understanding of network technologies such as TCP/IP, WAN, LAN
• Understanding of GSM/UMTS technology
• Comprehensive knowledge in Windows / Linux server configuration
• Excellent project management and communication skills
• Good analytical and problem solving skills
• Understanding and experience of IoT, M2M, NFC, knowledge in embedded application development will be an added advantage
