Lanka Shipping & Logistics Private Limited (LSL) and its associate Companies are seeking an Administrative Officer to join its team.

Administrative Officer

Responsibilities:

  • General Administrative duties covering the supervision of Company drivers and vehicles, preparation of vehicle maintenance charts and fuel milage documents
  • Liaising with department heads and allocating vehicles / drivers as per Company requirements
  • Identifying areas of improvement and advising management on ways to reduce costs
  • Vendor management - identifying, analyzing and assigning new vendors as and when needed by the Company
  • Responsible for the maintenance of fuel slips with accuracy and monitor fuel usage
  • Ensuring security of the Company premises

The ideal candidate should:

  • Have a basic knowledge of general maintenance (Vehicle maintenance, Plumbing, electricity)
  • Have 3 years experience in a similar role
  • Be Computer literate
  • Have good communication skills both verbal and written. Working knowledge of English
