Sales Executive
(Sales & Marketing Department)
Knowledge & Competencies
The individual should be highly motivated with a good understanding on the industry and market trends, and a strong sense of business. Being innovative and proactive, the individual should be able to build and maintain positive relationships at all levels, especially with external customers, with a passion for sales and achieving targets and objectives.
Education, Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualification in Business or Marketing Management from a reputed university or 5 years' experience within the industry in a similar capacity is required
- High levels of computer literacy and ability to efficiently communicate in English is essential
The Individual will be responsible for:
- Develop customer accounts to drive business into the specific hotel and to increase market / customer share in all revenue streams
- Negotiations room rates / packages with clients
- Prepare company contracts for the hotel in accordance with current business and pricing conditions
- Ensure the achievement of sales objectives in a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
- Work within current business strategies and recognising potential opportunities
- Cooperate with other departments to create an exceptional customer experienced and build strong, comprehensive sales programmes
- Attend sales events, as required
- Produce accurate and timely reports that meet the needs of the sales
- Manager and Senior Management to include the reporting of appointments, calls and business leads
- Answer customer queries in a prompt and professional manner
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
