McLarens Logistics Limited, which provides Containerised Shipping Agency & Logistics services to International Shipping Lines, NVOCC Operations & Freight Forwarders in Sri Lanka, is seeking young, dynamic applicants with strong leadership skills for following vacancy in Finance Division.

Accountant

Requirements:

  • Full or part qualifications of ICASL / CIMA / ACCA or equivalent qualification in accountancy
  • 3-5 years' experience in a recognised Shipping Agency
  • Knowledge on handling of principle disbursement accounts of a Containerised Shipping Liner service
  • Ability to work in a computerised environment - knowledge of Quick Book & Shipping Accounting software is an added advantage
  • Should possess good analytical & planning skills
  • Required to be IT literate with knowledge of Advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Effective communication skills (English is essential)
  • Dealing with Banks, Inland Revenue, Labour Department, Central Bank and other regulatory authorities
  • Ability to build strong and trustworthy relationship with others and to effectively contribute to a highly collaborative work environment
  • Age below 40 years
