Manager - Marketing

Responsible for working closely with both internal stakeholders and external creative agencies to make sure the company image & the brand values are upheld.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop marketing plans for the Cargills Bank's brand & products & ensure timely execution
• Prepare an annual media budget. Recommend advertising mediums to management, which will deliver the bank's advertising message with maximum impact at minimum cost
• Regulate advertising to ensure that the bank delivers a consistent, coherent, and compliant messages to its clients and potential clients
• Continually review the effectiveness of the advertising through the use of focus groups, customer surveys, and other data gathering tools
• Manage the whole process for branch branding & marketing and execution of campaigns by visiting the branches
• Manage external marketing partners such as advertising agencies, digital marketing firms and production companies
• Coordinate execution of advertising and product launches with internal departments (Consumer, Operations and IT)
• Manage constant exposure of the bank's product and services to prospective clients through direct mailings, newsletters & SMS campaigns
• Initiate and maintain brand through digital marketing. Manage website, FB, Google ads & Google Analytics etc, formulate strategies & campaigns to drive traffic and customer acquisitions through digital media

Qualifications / Skills & Other Requirements:

• A degree in Marketing or full qualification in CIM / SLIM or equivalent
• Minimum 4 years of working experience in a manager capacity out of which 3 years should be in Brand Management or Marketing
• Strong, proven conceptual and implementation skills and interpersonal skills
• Good command of English and Fluency in Sinhala & or Tamil languages will be advantageous
• A team player with a performance driven and service-oriented mind-set
