Supervisor
The Candidate will be a part of a busy, dynamic environment that constantly works towards ensuring that all ODEL customers have a great shopping experience. responsible for the achievement of sales targets by making sure that the team constantly offers a high standard of customer service and works as one team to achieve the store’s Goals.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Manage retail staff, including cashiers and people working on the floor
- Train and develop employees
- Work towards achieving sales targets by communicating targets bi hourly to department staff
- Maintain a high level of discipline
- Assist the Store manager to evaluate the job performance of shop assistants
- Ensure merchandise is clean and ready to be displayed
- Maintain inventory and ensure items are in stock as per the responsibilities
- Ensure promotions are accurate and merchandised as per the company’s standards
- Ensure standards for quality, customer service and health and safety are met
- Ensure that the staff attendance is of high standard
- Focus on the team’s ability and knowledge on UP SELLING, CROSS SELLING and effectively increasing basket value
- Maintain store's cleanliness
- Support the manager with relevant report generation
- Organise and communicate staff work schedules/rosters
- Manage day to day deliveries and replenishments
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- A Diploma in a relevant field will give the opportunity for the candidate to develop his/her career
