Accountant (Group Finance)

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements
• Liaise with external auditors and complete the Group Annual Audit
• Corporate Fund Management by Liaising with Banks & Lending Institutions
• Prepare MIS reports by collecting, analysing and summarising financial information
• Supervision of routine accounting functions & coordination with management team
• Calculation of taxi, preparation of annual returns and actively engage in tax planning
• Ensure the stipulated deliverables as per the agreed timelines

Experience & Qualifications:

• Minimum five years of experience including three years of mercantile experience
• Hands on experience in consolidation is a must
• Member of ICASL / CIMA with a Bachelor's degree
• Knowledge in accounting packages such as Oracle and SAP will be an added advantage
• Good written and verbal communication skills in both English and Sinhala
• Ability to work with minimum supervision, multi task and work under pressure
