Ceylon Shipping Lines Ltd, a leading shipping company with an international network of Agents, engaged in diversified industrial and commercial operations in Sri Lanka and abroad has a vacancy for the following position:

Trainee Cashier

Person:
A responsible person who can operate with minimum supervision and willingness to get trained for specific job duties. He/She should be an outgoing & dynamic person with good communication, both verbal and written in English is preferable. Preferred age group below 30 years.

Key Responsibilities:

• Raise invoices, receipts and other related documents.
• Accepting cash, cheques and other modes of payments made to the organisation.
• Handling petty cash/meeting cash floats and other cash floats.
• Setting collections on a daily basis as per system records.
• Handle IOU and follow-up.
• Handling credits and other online payments.

Educational & Professional Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in similar capacity.
• G.C.E. A/L in Commerce stream.
• Computer literacy.
