Prima Group, one of the leading food industry conglomerates in Sri Lanka, is currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our Group Internal Audit Function.

Internal Audit Executive

Responsibilities:

• Performing the full audit cycle including risk management over operations' effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations.
• Determining internal audit scope and developing annual audit plans.
• Obtaining, analysing and evaluating accounting documentation, reports and data.
• Performing organisation-wide risk assessments to identify significant risks or exposure related to internal controls or compliance with group policies and procedures, laws and regulations, sponsored contracts and other regulatory requirements, efficiency of operations, and accuracy of programmatic and financial reporting.
• Carryout special investigations.
• Provide timely and accurate reporting on control gaps and the status of remediation of audit findings.
• Carryout investigations as required into any suspected fraud, whistle blowing or other areas.
• Ensuring independence of approach and proper reporting.

Requirements:

• Possess minimum 5+ years of experience in the relevant field.
• Full/Part qualification in ICASL / ACCA / CIMA and/or Degree in Finance / Accounting / Business Management.
• Experience in a group role and exposure to listed companies would be an added advantage.

• Knowledge on Enterprise Risk Management.
• Self-motivated and willing to work under pressure.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• A keen eye for detail and desire to probe further into details.
• Strong work ethic.
• Willing to travel.
