Purchasing Executive (Fresh Flower Division)
We are looking for a dynamic, energetic and well organised Purchasing Executive to join hands with our fresh flower division. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing equipment, goods and services while parallelly managing vendors. You will also perform strategic procurement activities across multiple categories to attract better deals and more profitable suppliers.
Job Scope:
- Develop & drive effective purchasing strategies.
- Seek & partner with reliable vendors & suppliers.
- Determine quantity & timing of deliveries.
- Maintain record of received & ordered goods.
- Effective controls of purchasing department budget.
- Resolve vendor or contractor grievances and claims against suppliers.
- Monitor and forecast future trends and demands.
Pre-requisites:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the relevant field.
- Successful completion of G.C.E. A/L in commerce stream.
- Self-organised, enthusiastic person with the ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Strong communication skills.
- Energetic team player (male / female) with strong leadership skills.
- Should be able to work extended hours if and when required.
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management & logistics or Business administration would be an added advantage.
