Accounts Executive / Junior Accounts Executive

Key Responsibilities:

• Handling General/Supplier Payments.
• Ensuring accuracy, completeness & timeliness of all the transactions & maintain periodic transaction reports.
• Communication with all external & internal parties on operational related matters.
• Proper and accurate handling of cashier function and petty cash payments.
• Duly maintain allocated floats and daily reconciliations.
• Ensure that the cash collection is duly balanced and proper banking of daily cash collection.
• Serve the customers without delays.
• Assist to prepare financial statements & passing journal entries.
• Assist to calculate impairment provision for the loan book as per IFRSs.
• Perform CBSL reporting.

Key Requirements:

• Following a course in CA, CIMA, ACCA or AAT or equivalent qualifications.
• Fair Knowledge in Accounting & Finance -SLFRSs’ & LKASs’.
• Minimum 2 years work experience in a similar capacity. Preferable in a finance company.
• Fair Communication skills in both English and Sinhala.
• Good Knowledge in MS Office (Specially Excel), IT Application & exposure to use accounting software will be an added advantage.
• Good interpersonal skills.
