Accounts Assistant

The selected candidate will be responsible to:

• Perform supplier payments difference reconciliations.
• Respond for the queries made within three working days.
• Place stop payments and re issue fresh cheques for the misplaced cheques.
• Provide information request by the suppliers.
• Answer the calls received and response for the same.
• Coordinate with the banks and do the needful as and when required.
• Prepare payment batches as per the schedule dates and send for authorize.
• Coordinate with the Internal parties and expedite and clear any disputes.
• Ensue the scheduled payments are sent for relevant banks before the cutoff time.
• Coordinating with suppliers as and when required.

The ideal candidate should possess:

• G.C.E A/Lin commerce stream
• Following professional Accountancy Institution such as CASL/CIMA/ACCA/CMA/AAT would be an added advantage.
• Experience in the retail industry would be an added qualification.
• Sound knowledge in MS office.
• Ability to converse read and write in English.
• A person with a strong personality with influencing skills.
• Age between 19 and 30.
