Marketing Executive
Location : Kurunegala
Job Role:
The responsibilities of the above position includes, but not limited to the below:
- Negotiates with potential clients and sells insurance policies / packages best suitable to meet clients’ needs.
- Achieves assigned targets during the period of time.
- Follows up on insurance policy renewals of existing clients.
- Develops a prospective client base.
- Assists clients with filling insurance claims.
- Provides a satisfactory level of service to clients.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Aminimum of 5 years of proven capabilities in the sales profession of the financial services sector, out of which a minimum of 2 years in the Insurance/Financial service industry is a must.
- Aminimum three passes in G.C.E A/L and/or G.C.E O /L with six passes including Mathematics , English and Sinhala.
- Sales and Marketing / Business Management qualification from a UGC approved University or an industry recognized institution (added advantage).
- Certification in insurance (added advantage).
- Skills and abilities to work in a computerized environment and to operate basic MS-office packages.
- Good communication skills including good command of Sinhala & English Language. (Knowledge in Tamil language will be an added advantage.).
- Inter Personal and Team playing skills.
