The Colombo Ice Company (CICL), manufacturer of Elephant House Ice Creams is a leading consumer food company in Sri Lanka. CICL is a subsidiary of John Keells Holdings PLC.

The company is seeking a suitable candidate to fill the position of Executive – Finance. The position exists to assist the Finance Manager in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory accounts. Preparation of Quarterly and Annual accounts for CSE submission and the position will be based in Avissawella.

Executive - Finance

The selected candidates will be responsible for:

• Monitor the vendor payments and ensure payments are done with the credit period and accurately.
• Attending to all the Finance Department letters related to payments and send them to shared service.
• Attending Supplier queries for smooth function of the payments.
• Assist to enter the journal entries, Management of cash and working capital cycle.
• Assist to prepare Balance Sheet Schedules.
• Prepare tax schedules and timely submission of taxation schedules to RAMIS and obtaining confirmations before the statutory deadline.
• Maintaining the Capex invoice file and Preparing schedules for capital expenditure budgeted information.

Required qualifications and skills:

• Part qualified in ICASL, ACCA or CIMA and a degree in finance. 
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience preferably in a manufacturing organization and / or an Audit Firm.
• Sound knowledge in Financial Accounting, Management & Planning and Taxation.
• Broad understanding of the financial behavior of a manufacturing company with an effective and efficient process management in Manufacturing and Sales Environment.
• Broad Understanding of Forex & Statutory/Regulatory Requirements.
• Decision Taking & Problem-Solving Skills.

Remuneration for the above position will be in accordance with the John Keells Compensation and Benefits Policy.
