Business Analyst

A Dynamic individual with analytical and strategic vision is sourced as a Business Analyst to support business operations of SriLankan Aviation College

Job Accountabilities Include:

• Engage in identifying and envisioning business improvement opportunities through quantitative analysis and propose recommendations to the management
• Contribute to innovation by participating in business process re-designs as per business requirements
• Collect and formalize requirements by customer base, assess the needs / requirements expressed and evaluate the viability of possible improvements
• Analyze and interpret business performance through business models and proper financial information for Management reviews and decisions
• Advice the Strategic Business Unit on the innovative use of business information, process improvement, and highlight best practices in similar / relevant industries
• Active involvement in projects related to the Strategic Business Unit and responsible for the execution with proper resource allocation and monitoring
• Produce high quality documents, written reports and presentations relating to the Strategic Business Unit in a clear and concise style

The incumbent should possess the following minimum requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree preferably in Management disciplines with 2 years work experience in a relevant discipline
• OR
• Full professional qualification preferably in Management disciplines with 2 years experience in relevant discipline

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Sound general knowledge
• Excellent oral and written communication
• A strong will to learn
• Ability to collect information
• Organizational and Commercial Sensitivity
• IT literacy in MS Office
