Assistant Accountants

(For Immediate Engagement)

Responsible for Monitoring, Reconciliation & Preparation of related Financial Accounts / Budgeting & Forecasting / Financial Management & Controlling / Overseeing monthly processing of payroll and payments to employees and manage relationship with auditors, tax advisors, banks and other parties as directed by the management

Requirements:

• Minimum of intermediate level plus qualification obtained from the institute of Chartered Accountants - Sri Lanka
• Minimum 5 years of progressive work experience in Financial Management and reporting in a Sales & Marketing based organisation including at least 2 years experience in a similar capacity as an Assistant Accountant
• Analytical skills with sound understanding of auditing principles and practices
• "Hands on" experience in applying related auditing concepts with minimum supervision
• A team player with sound interpersonal skills and effective communication and report writing ability in both English and Sinhala languages
• Computer literacy with sound knowledge of ERP systems and MS Office packages
• Male candidates below 35 years of age
• Preference will be given to candidates with Audit experience
